What you get

Orin is a breathing app built around sound. You pick how you want to feel, put on headphones, and follow a guided breath while the app builds a live soundscape around you.

• Five moods: Calm and Ground (coherent breathing), Release Stress (4-7-8), Sharpen Focus (box breathing), Deep Rest (a long exhale), and Drift to Sleep.
• Its own sound for each one: Calm and Ground is warm and low, Release Stress sinks a little on each breath out under soft rain, Sharpen Focus is bright and dry, and Deep Rest is slow, wide, and dark.
• Real binaural beats: two slightly different tones, one in each ear, tuned to the state you picked. No headphones? Rhythmic pulse makes the sound swell at the beat rate, so it works on speakers.
• Tibetan bowls in time with your breath: they ring on each phase, so you can breathe with your eyes closed.
• Drift, the sleep mode: fades out once you're asleep, or plays all night with the screen off. Your choice.
• Your own mix: adjust the binaural level, the bowl chimes, the tone, the rhythmic pulse, and vibration cues.
• Reminders: Morning, Midday, and Wind down, each tied to the intention you want at that time. Tap one and the session is ready.
